Slowly but Surely

I'm trying to get some knitting and blogging time in this week. I'm slowly getting around to each of you. I plan to get caught up on letter writing this week and visit those blogs I haven't had a chance to comment on lately.
First, let me show you pictures of the most awesome knitting bag ever. I first saw one at Nicole's blog and Marisol and I ordered one at about the same time I think. I ordered the Avacado green one, but after waiting on it to ship (it was backordered), the company told me that they wouldn't be able to get one in that color and let me choose another. So, I got the rust color, which I think may be the same color as Nicole. The bag is super roomy and gorgeous. I ordered it from Scout and her customer service as well as the service from Namaste is wonderful. I highly recommend getting one.

Look at all of the room inside!!

Saturday I decided I would stay home and hang out with LittleMan. No shopping, no errands, just staying home. So, we did. Friday I got an invite to Ravelry. Man, oh man. So, I asked LM if he would like to help me organize my stash on Saturday and he was all for it. I let him bring it all into the living room and arrange it into piles while I wrote down label info and photographed. Then he packaged it up. He did a great job and had fun. Here's the stash. LM responded that I didn't need any more yarn, I had enough. He might be right. I was not prepared for this....
Ummmm...wow. Now I have to enter it all in to Ravelry. Goodness!!
I also finished the Wicked Witch of the East socks. Here they are being modeled by Little Man. (Just imagine the fallen house on top...we didn't have props!)

I have them on today and they are sooo comfy. I am now a Vesper fan!!
Well, I'm off to finish my lunch and get back to work. I need to leave work early today for a school board meeting, so I'm going to try to be productive until I leave. :)

O.K. Let me start by saying--I absolutely LOVE! those wicked socks little man is wearing! I think a dollhouse ontop would have been hillarious--Great picture:)

Oh and the stash picture is awesome too! I checked out your stash on Ravelry. Its looking pretty good:)

Guess what... the hubbs brought home an enourmous plastic square from costco last night and wanted me to put all my yarn --laying around the dinning room away. I obliged and was surprised to find that I filled the whole thing up. Whats scary is that I think I need 3 more of these to properly get the grand stash organized:)

LM looks exhausted, maybe from dealing with your stash for Ravelry?;)

Totally love this photo of LM! Crack me up. I bet you do love Vespar yarn. I hope to try it one day as well. Beauiful color in the Nampster bag. So much room and compartments in it too.

I am in awe of your stash!! Great yarns. My stash is old enough that it has some nasty acrylic still in it. That is gradually being given to Goodwill or to people who knit for charities who do not accept woolen items. Thanks for your comment on my blog and guess as to the use of the upsidedown laundry basket. Your guess was great, but not the right one. Aquarela came the closest and she wins. The real use for the laundry basket is on my current post.

The socks are gorgeous, but I already knew I liked anything pink! The purple sock pal sock a couple of posts back though...I am not a big fan of purple and I suddenly find myself wanting to knit some purple socks! The stash it to drool over. Hmm, makes me wonder what I've got in the back room?
