The details are as follows:
Created with weight loss blogs in mind, but not necessarily limited to only them, The Significant Milestone Award has been designed to be handed out to those who have reached a noteworthy marker on a journey of personal betterment. It may be given to a blogger who has recently achieved a meaningful accomplishment such as a ten percent drop in body weight, a twenty-five pound loss, or reaching their final goal. Anyone who has already received this award may pass it on to another blogger when they feel that it is warranted, provided that they take the time to ensure that they are presenting it for a truly exceptional and important feat. The only stipulation that is attached to accepting The Significant Milestone Award is that the recipient must take at least one full minute to really think about what they have achieved and to feel good about themselves.
I would like to present this award to the following blogger:
Roni - Roni ran her first marathon this past weekend. How amazing is that!!! I find myself struggling with this 5K and here she is running a marathon people. I loved reading her tweets and looking at her pictures. When I do my 5K this weekend, I'm thinking about doing a few pics and tweets also.
As I told 266, I did reach a major milestone by achieving my goal weight, but I also reached another milestone that I had set for myself last week. Other than the obvious weight loss and looking a little better, I really wanted to get healthier. I have had high cholesterol since I was around 19 years old (maybe before then, that was the first time I had gotten it checked). My previous cholesterol was around 330 and my triglycerides were around 440. I had my levels checked last week and was hoping to be in the "normal" ranges. Normal meaning under 200 for cholesterol and under 140 for triglycerides. Well, the results came back Friday afternoon and I'm pretty sure the nurse thought I was a nutcase for being so excited. My cholesterol was 164 and my triglycerides were 75!!!! I couldn't believe it!! This is the first time I've been "normal". WOO HOO!!
We had the fall festival at our local high school on Friday night and the kids helped me bake a cake for the bake sale. It was a very non-WW chocolate cake with chocolate chips and caramel in the cake and vanilla icing with chocolate chips and caramel chips and chocolate and caramel drizzles. It looked awesome if I do say so myself.
So, of course my lovely assisstants got to lick the beaters and one little girl got all cheesy with the smiling. :)
The kids got quite a haul from the festival. LOL!
Speaking of Amazon, they have Vita products on sale for 15% off right now. In addition, the Free Super Saver shipping gets upgraded to 2-day shipping due to the perishable nature of the products. So, this is really an awesome deal if you have been wanting to place an order. 15% off and free shipping! And, if you are interested in FREE Vitas, scroll down and read about my contest. Basically, donate to my St. Jude's race and then you'll be entered for a chocolate sampler pack. :) Thank you in advance!! Also, post a link on your blog for an extra entry. If you need a little inspiration to give, visit our team's website.
I hope you are all having a great week!

Congrats on the award, and that's amazing on the cholesterol decrease! That's HUGE! It's amazing how much 45 pounds can change things. Of course, it's not just the weight itself, but it's the foods you eat now vs. the foods you used to eat.
You're doing awesome on the running. Race day is fast approaching, and you're going to be ready.
Thanks for the Vita sale tip. I still haven't tasted these.
And those beater pics are so cute! You have beautiful kids.
