Vacation Week

It's been a great vacation week. Tuesday I hung out at home with LittleGirl and we cleaned house and wrapped Christmas presents. We had fun. Then, after school, we took LittleMan to get a much needed haircut and did some shopping. Yesterday, the hubby and I went Christmas shopping and had a blast. We ate at a new restaurant and it was fantastic!!

I have gotten in my 7 fruits and veggies for the Holiday Bootie Buster all week. This has been easy due to the bags of satsumas that I bought on Monday. Those things are fantastic!! The exercise portion has been okay, nothing to brag about. I hope to get in a good long run today and then I have another race (5K) on Saturday.

I'm hoping to be sub-30 minutes on the 5K (keep in mind that I am a slow runner) and I think that is pretty attainable, especially if it's pretty cold because I'll be trying to keep warm!
I realized that I have this race and one on the 15th and then nothing until March. Coaching basketball is going to have my Saturdays tied up until March 13th. If I don't have to work that Saturday, there will be another trail run then another the next weekend. So, hopefully one of them will be one I can sign up for and run in. I really enjoyed the trail run last Saturday and definitely want to do another one. Long term goal is a 10 mile next November.

Now, I'm off the computer to enjoy snuggling with my LittleGirl and "writing". Have a great day!!

I hope you enjoyed your snuggle time! I will bow to your sub-30 5K time. You can do it!!

I love satsumas, but haven't had them in a couple of years!

Good luck on your run tonight....and enjoy that snuggle time. Mine won't snuggle on the computer anymore...he continues to push buttons and crazy things start happening:)
Curious if you do any other exercise programs besides running...I have a goal of losing 30 lbs. I did WW after the last pregnancy, but this time I am finding it hard ot stick to. Any other advice on getting this baby weight off would be great:)

Tell me more about the trail run. Since I busted up on the Santa Shuffle, I'm looking for more races to enter.
