Random!!

I am loving all of the questions! Keep them coming guys!! I am going to start answering them on Thursday. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, my last post encouraged you to ask me ANYTHING and I'll give you an answer in a later post. Running, life, kids, weight loss, work, ANYTHING.

Today I did some major walking and running. I started off with a run that was cut a little short due to the need for a bathroom break. Then my friend Susan and I walked (with a little jogging) to a meeting that we had for work that was a couple of miles down the road. When I got home and ate supper, Little Girl and I broke out the stroller (loving the longer days!!) and got in a little walking. The last little bit had a real purpose. I knew if she and I got in a little over 2 miles then I would have over 100 miles for the year!! So, here are today's stats (no post-its today..sorry!)

Today: 6.72 miles bringing my total for the year to 100.1 miles!! Woo Hoo!!!!!

I promise I'll have more post its tomorrow. I did get in another 40 pushups last night and 100 crunches this morning. I'll update my totals soon.

I really had a blast walking with LG tonight. We picked wildflowers and talked and looked at cows and birds and really had a great time. Sometimes you have to slow down and enjoy things, ya know? I watched Up with the boy Sunday night (and BOO HOOED like a baby) and loved when the little boy talked about how sometimes the boring things are what he remembered most.

That is so true. I think back on the things I really enjoyed as a kid and they were things like raking leaves with my parents, going to feed cows with my grandfather and uncle, and running around the back yard in the spring. So, I'm trying to slow down, take it easy, and be boring.

The kids played outside all weekend. Washing cars, sliding, picking flowers, running around, pretending to drive hubby's boat. They had a blast and I did too.

I hope you are all having a great week. Stop by Kayte's blog and enter her Running Skirts giveaway. Buy a Bondi Band or ten and support her awesome raffle while you are at it. :)

If you are a new follower, WELCOME!! If I haven't visited your blog, PLEASE leave me a comment and let me know. I want to visit everyone and my internet time has been a little limited lately.

Way to go on your miles :-)

I think about being boring a lot. It's the stuff the girls will remember. I've been working on that, taking them to the library, on walks and the playground. The important bonding stuff.

We took our little guy for a nice walk yesterday. My favorite part of the day is when I get home and spend quality time with my baby. Congrats on your stats! Keep up the good work.

Congrats on 100 miles! I can't believe you can do 40 push ups! I can't do one! I tried yesterday at the park to do a pull up (is that what it is called when you pull your chin up to the bar?). I couldn't even do it! So what kind of sit-ups do you do? I really would like to try to add them into my exercising!
