Tell it Like it Is Tuesday

I have tried a few new products lately and want to do a fun Tell it Like it is Tuesday! :) (woo hoo....the crowd goes wild, etc)

First off,

Veggie Chips by Sensible Portions. I bought these at Toys R Us the other day while shopping for a Dora backpack (which they didn't have...Academy however, did).
Anyway, it was the night of the 5K I ran a couple of weeks ago and I grabbed them for a snack. 38 chips (roughly the size of a Gatorade lid) is a serving. 130 calories, 7 g of fat, 1 g fiber (I think that's right on the fiber). That comes to 3 WW points.

They were pretty decent. I don't like dips, but I think if I did, these would be great with dips. I have been eating them with grapes or string cheese (and possibly a Baja Bob margarita). They are pretty salty and my kids liked them too.

I also bought a new sports bra from Target. It's from their Champion line and I LOVE it. Great support, but comfy and cozy. I am definitely going to buy more of those. Very true to size also. If you wear a small in running shirts, then a small will be perfect.

I got in a run today at lunch. 3.7 miles in 96 degree weather with a heat index of 106 (a vendor who was convinced that we were going to stroke out from running at lunch let me know this when I got back to my office.) This is me 1 hour and a BIG lunch later....
I have on my Gone for a Run shirt that I got for Mother's Day. Here's the back. Don't you love it?

Lastly (is that a real word?), here is my little angel (hahahahahaha) with the birdhouse she made at bible school last week. I think I have a girlie girl on my hands. Look at all the decoration on that bird house! Also, she has on no shirt because we are on day 3 of real big girl panties! It's so much easier to deal with the potty thing without clothes to fool with too.

I hope you are having a great week. Mine has been stressful but productive!

I don't know how you can run in that heat! Just reading about it makes me want to run for the nearest air conditioner. Great job!

Boy, and I though my run this morning was bad in 82* plus tons of humidity! How do you not burn up in the midday sun and the heat??? I am in awe and also want to know your secret! :)

Aren't you dripping and exhausted when you get back to work? I sorta miss my lunchtime workouts but in this heat it would be so hard!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Target sports bra! I have seen those the last few times I was at Target and I really wanted to buy one but wasn't sure how they were!

I love the Champion bra too -- perfect for my not-so-big rack! lol [I didn't want to say "small" or "non-existent" ;)]

Hey, are the chips somewhat filling, for 3 points?

Thanks for sharing this, doll . . . and GL w/the PT!
