HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!

This is what I'm doing right this minute. We got new patio furniture, some torches, and something else in the last couple of weeks. So, I'm outside (I love you AT&T wireless) watching the kids do fireworks, listening to CCR off of itunes (thanks Waffle House for the idea), and just relaxing.


And there is this..........apple dumplings (recipe here) and Edy's slow churned Vanilla Bean. (There is nothing remotely healthy about the apple dumplings unless you count the fruit.)

The kids are chilling with ice cream too.

What do you all think of the new look of the blog? I have to admit that with work and all of the outside stuff getting ready for this weekend that it was up for about 4 days before I ever saw it. Isn't that sad?

My half training starts tomorrow. :) I'm so excited. If there are any of you near Tyler, TX, PLEASE consider joining me for marathon weekend. There is a 5K, half, and full.

Hopefully, I'll be able to do some blog visiting tomorrow on my holiday day off.
