Tell it Like it is Tuesday - the Late Edition

So, I'm a day late. Oh well, better late than never, right? Today is Tell it like it is Tuesday Wednesday!!

First of all, THANK YOU and WELCOME to all of my new followers!! I am going to try to get around to your blogs as soon as possible!!

On that note, please don't forget to enter my giveaway. The giveaway ends at midnight tomorrow night (Thursday) and is a really great one!!

Now, for the Tell it Like it is review part.....
First off, the star of my past week, Edy's Slow Churned Caramel Delight.
If you like caramel and ice cream, then you'll love this. At around 2 Weight Watchers points per serving, this stuff is awesome. However, portion control is a problem for me. :)
I also tried Clif Bars for the first time this week. I opted for the mini bars and so far I've tried the Crunchy Peanut Butter and the Chocolate Chip Peanut Crunch. MMMMMM. I am totally in love with the Crunchy Peanut Butter. It reminds me of those peanut butter cornflake no bake cookies that my mom used to make. YUMMY!! The mini bars are only 2 WW Points.

I also read a book this weekend. It took me around 24 hours because I couldn't put it down!! This was a great book about the events surrounding and the death of Molly Marx. It is a mystery and chick book all in one. Very good!!

Finally, in the My Crazy Life department, things are rolling along. Half training is going, although with the heat, it sucks. However, I think I might take it to the gym some next week to make it more tolerable.
I have been spending one 8 hour day a week for the last couple of weeks (and I have two more to go!) teaching classes for all of the employees at our mill. Fun stuff (lol). I don't know how teachers do it.
My BFF at work is leaving in a couple of weeks to take a job teaching. I am sooo sad about this. In a facility of over 500 people, mostly men, it's hard to find a BFF and I'm heartbroken that she's leaving. However, not having our weekly lunches gives me more time to run I guess. :(
I hope you are all having a fantastic week.

Melissa

I love the Chocolate Chipe Peanut Crunch too! I think that, that icecream would be dangerous for me.

That's why I don't buy the skinny cow ice cream bars. I could down the whole package in a day. Not good for my rear end. Sorry about your friend, I hope God brings a new person in to fill part of the void.

Congrats on your training. I took the summer off b/c of the boys baseball schedule, but I'm very ready to get out and run again. I'm thinking I might have to go at 5:00 in the morning so I can beat morning stress and at least it's only 80 degrees at that time. This heat is horrible!

Hi Melissa - the heat sure does suck. I'm wondering why I decided to start running in the summer months!

By the way, your blog has really inspired me so I nominated you for an award on my blog:

You sound like a busy person!

I recently bought the little mini Cliff bars and they are very nice to have on hand.
