It's found in the freezer section and after being thawed it will store for up to 6 days in the fridge. Mine has NEVER lasted that long. Little Girl loves them and we even sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar on the tops before baking to make it more "treat" like.
This is a Louisiana product (woo hoo!) and comes from a town that has had two major employers close up shop in the last couple of years. So, for me it supports a local town and I feel good about supporting an area that the economy has kicked hard. I think the website allows you to see where they have this great product and you can like them on Facebook here. **Disclaimer** I was not asked by Dezzie Dough to give this review and was not compensated in any way.
These are the finished product with cinnamon and sugar. :) YUM!
Here are the veggies.
With a little online tutorial that I googled, it was easy. Caitlin also tried sushi this weekend and got TONS of helpful tips in her comments if you want some pointers. It was a fun activity though.
And finally, I have decided to try to do a couple of days per week as meat-free days. I did three last week and it wasn't too bad and I felt great. I'm not looking to go totally meat-free, but I think I'll stick with doing it a few days per week.
For all of you 31 miles in 31 days folks, update your mileage and send me your address so that I can get out your goodies. I'll draw for prizes on Thursday!!

Yum! The dough looks faboo especially, wish they had it around here ... I should look in my natural foods store!
Great ideas! Last week I let each of my girls pick a recipe from a cookbook and do the entire recipe with limited help from me. They loved it! Both picked yummy desserts, so we were not as healthy as you but it was a fun thing to do with the kids. They would love the sushi rolls. Thanks!
OOH, that sweet potato dough looks really good...I'll have to see if they carry it here.
The sushi rolls look yum!
yum! love sushi!
That sounds like a great idea for the kids and I to do. I've never had sushi but those looked yummy! And I'm all for anything to get the kids to eat their veggies.
I have never heard of sweet potato dough, it sounds really good! You put some great ideas behind the stuff, too.....wow! I will have to look into something like that around here, I bet Whole Foods or similar may have it.
I hope the 3 day meat-free thing works for you... I don't eat meat as much as I should, and always feel better when I do, but I'm just more lazy than anything.
Happy almost weekend - yay!
Looks so good!
I have to say, that Dezzie Dough sounds really good!
I love the idea of using sushi making to get kids excited about eating veggies! :)
