The title totally sums me up lately....all kinds of random. We have a lot going on right now. I was
suckered asked to help coach LittleMan's 7-8 year old baseball team and so we have had that going on, but I think it's going to be a blast! However, note to self-even though my steel toed shoes are technically tennis shoes, my toes DO NOT feel good the day after running bases in them. :(
We had a GREAT Easter with friends and family and celebrated LM's 7th birthday. That still seems unreal that I have a 7 year old. I was struggling with that last week until a contractor in the mill was asking where I went to school because (and I quote), "We should be the same age right?" I asked and found out he was 23 and promptly hugged the poor boy right then and there. Poor kid.
Oh! The Easter Basket LG has is from Crayon Princess who does FABULOUS work! Check her out on Facebook and "like" her! You won't be sorry!
I also got a wonderful surprise in the mail the other day from ZonePerfect. They have launched a Sweet and Salty line which includes Cashew Pretzel and Trail Mix. They were both WONDERFUL. LG really liked the trail mix and the cashew pretzel was my favorite. YUM!! Click here for more information.I also had a birthday about a month ago.
For my birthday, my lovely baby brother bought me a gift certificate to the new running store near us (relatively speaking) called FitRight Active. So, Saturday, I finally had the chance to check it out and they were having a little grab drawing at the front of the store for various discounts and stuff. Lucky me drew 50% off all apparel! So, I got 3 new shirts, 2 bras, shorts, socks, and a few other goodies for very little cash. WooHOO! I plan on trying out one of the new outfits this afternoon after work. I can't wait.
I also signed up yesterday for the St. Jude's Memphis half marathon! So, if ANY of you are doing this (in December), let me know. I want to do a blogger meet-up! I will also be raising money as part of Team Jake, so I will fill you in on that more at a later date. If any of you have successful fundraisers you want to share, I'm all ears. My friend Amanda signed up also and we are both so excited to be doing this together and raising money for such a great cause.
I hope you are all well and I'll be getting around to your blogs soon!!
