I then went to Family Dollar and ended up with around $41 of stuff for about $26. Keep in mind that everything was stuff that I use and not stuff I bought just to buy it.
Today, I tried Walgreen's. Wow! It was crazy, but I did well. I spent around $50 ($9 of that were the little princess's purchases, which were not couponed) and I saved.....$68!!!! So, pretty much, $41 and saved $68. I was so proud of myself.
I can see where this might get addicting. Do any of you coupon??

Couponing is a must for my family of 7. Our grocery store double coupons everyday, you can use a competitor coupon or store coupon along w/ a manufacturer coupon to get double the deal, and each week there are tons of BOGO items that I usually mathc my coupons w/. I typically spend around $200 a week on groceries (remember there are 7 of us plus I run a daycare) and usually save at least $100 or more. I couldn't live w/o my coupons:)
Great job! I did the coupon thing for awhile, but it seems lately that I don't have the time to keep up with all the clipping. I definitely need to get back into it!
My couponing comes and goes but it's a lot of fun when you add up the savings. The key, as you noted, is buying stuff you can use. I don't want to end up like those hoarders, er - extreme couponers, on TLC whose house is overrun with "bargains." And hurray for your freebies in the mail!
We don't really have coupons in the UK, I watched Extreme Couponing (or something) the other day and it was amazing!

Great deals!
Couponing is a must in our house of 6! Especially with one getting ready to go off to college! I got all all the school supplies this year using coupons and paid $37.00 total for all the supplies for 2 kids!
Great job on the couponing!
